Our photography and conservation projects in Africa are ideal for those volunteers wanting to improve their photography skills while giving back to rural communities and conservation efforts. On arrival on project, volunteers go through an in-depth photography workshop with our professional photographers and learn how to take photos of wildlife, landscapes and flora.
Volunteers then go out on research drives where they are able to experience the beauty of Africa’s game reserves and national parks and get up close and personal with wildlife, birds, bugs and amazing plant life. Many of our photography projects also provide volunteers with opportunities to do walking safaris and develop their skills in macro photography.
Photographs taken on our projects form part of a large database which is available to charities and NGO’s worldwide. These photos are either used for wildlife research, sold to provide income for communities in need or as resources to assist conservation.
