In many countries, especially in rural areas, English literacy rates and the general standard of education is unfortunately very low. For families living in these areas, this can cause a low standard of living brought upon by a lack of job opportunities and income. Sadly, this often results in a cycle whereby children born into uneducated communities also suffer similar problems.
Volunteers on our teaching and education programs aim to improve this cycle by offering educational assistance both in and out of the classroom. Our programs include pre-school teaching in Africa, teaching English in Asia and even working with street children in South America.
Volunteers are provided with plenty of guidance and on-the-ground support, so we welcome volunteers with or without teaching experience. We work with our volunteers to ensure that their skills are best placed so that they play a positive role in developing brighter futures for underprivileged children across the world.
